Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has confirmed that the Afrobeats star was arrested and handcuffed in London following a heated altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru, who is also a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly.
According to earlier reports, 2Face travelled to the UK with Natasha for a concert tour but failed to appear at his scheduled show on October 2, 2025. This sparked speculation after eyewitnesses claimed he was detained at the airport.
Kaka Igbokwe, son of the late music icon Christy Essien-Igbokwe, cleared the air during an appearance on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session. He stated that “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
Kaka, who was on the same flight and part of the London team, narrated what led to the confrontation. According to him, Natasha became upset when she felt 2Face left her behind at the arrival terminal while he walked away with fans who ushered him into a nearby shop.
Realising Natasha was not with him, the “African Queen” crooner reportedly ran back to her, but the argument escalated, drawing the attention of authorities. This led to the singer’s arrest and handcuffing by UK officers.
A video showing the moment of the arrest, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since gone viral, reigniting public debate about the couple’s relationship and the incident.
