Former Nigerian international and Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has hinted that Victor Osimhen may be on his way to Real Madrid next summer. With Vinicius Jr’s future at the club uncertain, the LaLiga giants are reportedly monitoring Osimhen, who currently shines at Galatasaray after his 2025 move from Napoli. The Nigerian striker has already scored six Champions League goals this season despite injury setbacks, making him a prime candidate for the Real Madrid frontline.
Oliseh explained on Insight Podcast that if Vinicius leaves, Kylian Mbappe can shift back to the left-wing, creating space for Osimhen at the center-forward position. No Nigerian-born player has ever featured for Real Madrid’s first team, which could make this a historic move.
