How to Ask for Help in 5 simple steps

Explain the situation. Describe how you’ve already tried to help yourself.

Consider the timing. If you’re not sure what time is best for seeking their help, ask them.

Be specific. Don’t make someone guess what you want.

Show appreciation. If you’ve acted on their advice previously, say so.
