Laycon emerges as Bbnaija Season 5 lockdown Edition winner, therefore taking the grand prize of N85 Million home.
At the second place is housemate Dorathy and Nengi, at third position. Laycon is the fifth winner of the show since the show began in 2006. As the winner, Laycon will walk away with N85 million, inclusive of a two-bedroom apartment and a brand new SUV.
Laycon won by gaining 60 per cent of the votes. Leaving fellow finalists Dorathy with 21.85 percentage and Nengi, 15.03 percentage. When asked about how he felt being among the top two, he said he was surprised to make top 2. He said he just came to the house to promote his EP.
The lockdown edition which began on June 30, had 20 contestants all vying for the grand prize of N85 million. Determined by votes of viewers, each housemate faced eviction every week till the 70th day, where Laycon was announced the winner of the season.
